Designation: Sewing Data Entry Operator

Reports To: Sewing In-charge / Production Manager

Job Purpose
To accurately record, update, and maintain daily sewing production, manpower, efficiency, quality, and related production data in the prescribed system and Excel formats, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Production and HR teams.
Key Responsibilities
Enter daily sewing production data accurately in Excel / ERP / production software.
Record line-wise and operator-wise production details.
Update daily target vs. actual production.
Maintain manpower and attendance-related production records.
Prepare hourly / shift-wise production reports.
Update rejection, rework, alteration, and quality-related data.
Monitor line efficiency and productivity data.
Coordinate with Sewing Supervisors, Team Leaders, Quality, and HR for data collection.
Verify production data before submitting daily reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS reports.
Maintain proper records and documentation for audit and management review.
Identify data mismatches and immediately inform the concerned supervisor.
Maintain confidentiality of production and employee-related information.
Support management in preparing productivity and performance analysis.
Perform any other data-entry or reporting activities assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and data entry.
Good typing speed and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of formulas such as SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP is preferred.
Valuable numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to work in a production setting.
Knowledge of sewing production processes will be an added advantage.
Educational Qualification
Minimum 12th Standard / Diploma.
Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
Freshers with good computer and Excel knowledge can be considered.
