A SQL Developer is a strategic professional responsible for evaluating project purpose, understanding business trajectory, technical challenges and translating that into robust, reusable SQL queries that can be used to collect and analyse data to take best business decisions.

Responsibilities of SQL Developer:

- Write reusable SQL queries, procedures, and scripts to make business decisions.
- Understand business lifecycle and business needs to understand what type of code is best suitable for the business.
- Implement data storage solutions.
- Analyse complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
- Debug and troubleshoot applications to ensure fast and high-quality operations.
- Collaborate with front end developers to make sure that the entire module is seamless.
- Collaborate with front end developers, analysts, and stakeholders to implement strategic business initiatives.
- Maintain data dashboards to present to key stakeholders during monthly review meetings.

Technical Skills





- Solid proficiency in SQL code.
- Strong proficiency in understanding data descriptions, data types.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization in terms what how the management wants the data to be presented.
- Ability to cobble different types of data structures that can speak to one another.
- Experience in handling live projects that have been in place for at least one year.
- Experience in handling database management software like MySQL, Oracle.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Understanding of database security best practices and regulations.
- Knowledge of machine learning libraries like Pandas etc will be huge plus.
- Knowledge of big data will be desirable.
- Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI and Tableau is desired.
