- Assemble Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and automation equipment as per drawings.
- Read and understand mechanical assembly drawings.
- Perform machine assembly, alignment and fitting activities.
- Install and assemble mechanical components such as:
- Bearings
- Linear guides
- Ball screws
- Pneumatic cylinders
- Gearboxes
- Motors
- Conveyors
- Sensors and other machine components
- Perform drilling, tapping, grinding and basic fitting work when required.
- Check machine alignment, dimensions and movement during assembly.
- Coordinate with Design, Electrical and PLC teams during machine assembly and trials.
- Assist in machine testing, troubleshooting and commissioning.
- Identify assembly issues and support corrective actions.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work area properly.
- Follow company quality and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- 1–5 years of experience in SPM / Industrial Automation machine assembly.
- Valuable knowledge of mechanical fitting and assembly.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems is preferred.
- Experience in machine alignment and troubleshooting is an advantage.
