Role Description The Sourcing Specialist internship role is a remote position focused on supporting PANCH’s sustainable and traceable supply chain. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and evaluating suppliers for organic textiles and eco-friendly materials, collecting and analyzing data on pricing, quality, and sustainability certifications, and assisting with procurement documentation. The intern will help maintain supplier records, support contract review and negotiation processes under supervision,



and coordinate with internal teams to meet production timelines and sustainability standards.

This role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of sourcing practices, monitoring market trends in regenerative fashion, and preparing reports to inform sourcing decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for supplier evaluation, cost comparison, and sustainability assessment.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess basic Contract Negotiation and procurement support skills or a demonstrated interest in developing them.
- Candidates should possess foundational Recruiting and procurement-related skills for identifying and onboarding new suppliers.
- Additional qualifications include attention to detail, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and strong organizational skills.
- Interest or coursework in supply chain management, sustainability, textiles, or business is beneficial; prior internship or project experience in sourcing or procurement is a plus.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, databases, and digital collaboration tools; familiarity with sustainability certifications (e.g., GOTS) is advantageous.
