Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with strong expertise in the Steel Industry

, specifically in Flat Steel Products

. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in steel purchasing/procurement and strong knowledge of steel suppliers, market pricing, negotiations, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end procurement of Flat Steel Products and related steel materials.

· Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable steel suppliers across domestic markets.

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers.

· Monitor steel market prices, trends, availability, and supply conditions.

· Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per business requirements.

· Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams for smooth order execution.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new vendor networks.

· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, delivery, and service.

· Handle purchase orders,



quotations, commercial negotiations, and procurement documentation.

· Ensure procurement is aligned with quality specifications and customer requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Steel Purchase/Procurement.

· Mandatory experience in Flat Steel Products.

· Robust understanding of the steel market, suppliers, pricing, and procurement practices.

· Experience in supplier negotiation and vendor development.

· Strong commercial and analytical skills.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· 5+ years of experience in Steel Purchase/Procurement

.

· Strong exposure to Flat Steel products.

· Existing network of steel manufacturers, distributors, traders, and suppliers will be an advantage.

· Strong negotiation, vendor management, and market intelligence skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced procurement environment.
