Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Solar Technician to join our team in Aizawl, Mizoram. The candidate will be responsible for supervising rooftop solar PV installations, handling service and maintenance complaints, troubleshooting solar inverters, and ensuring the smooth operation of solar power systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on field experience in solar PV systems, particularly in installation, maintenance, and inverter troubleshooting. A Diploma/ITI qualification is preferred but not mandatory; practical field experience will be given significant weightage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Rooftop Solar Installation & Supervision

- Supervise installation teams during rooftop solar PV installation and commissioning.
- Ensure installations are completed according to design specifications, safety standards, and company guidelines.
- Inspect installation quality and identify or resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with customers, installation teams, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure proper installation of solar panels, wiring, inverters, earthing, and other system components.

2. Service & Maintenance

- Attend and resolve customer complaints related to rooftop solar systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Conduct site visits for service and technical issues.
- Prepare service reports and maintain records of maintenance activities.

3. Solar Inverter Troubleshooting

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
- String inverters
- Hybrid inverters
- Off-grid solar systems
- Analyze inverter errors, system performance, and electrical faults.




- Identify the root cause of technical problems and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Coordinate with inverter manufacturers and technical support teams whenever required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in solar PV installation, maintenance, or service operations.
- Hands-on experience in solar inverter troubleshooting and repair is essential.
- Candidates with robust practical field experience may be considered even without a formal technical qualification.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, solar PV components, electrical safety, and basic troubleshooting.

Required Skills
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of rooftop solar PV systems.
- Ability to supervise and coordinate field installation teams.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently at customer/project sites.
- Willingness to travel to project and service locations.
- Basic computer knowledge for service reports and documentation.
- Strong focus on safety and quality of work.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a hands-on Solar Technician who is comfortable working at customer and project sites, troubleshooting solar PV systems, handling inverter-related issues, and supervising installation/service activities. Practical field experience and technical troubleshooting ability will be given high importance. Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
