Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through comprehensive testing and defect management.

The candidate should have robust experience in manual testing, with exposure to automation testing, API testing, database testing, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.

Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect-tracking tools.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and other QA team members.

Execute test cases and maintain accurate test execution and defect reports.

Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing and quality perspective.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms.

Perform basic database testing and SQL queries to validate backend data.

Contribute to automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies,



where applicable.

Analyze test failures and work with development teams to identify root causes.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.

Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and overall product quality.

Required Skills

2–5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing/QA.

Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.

Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong experience in writing and executing test cases.

Good knowledge of functional and regression testing.

Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.

Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Pay: ₹339,924.92 - ₹1,554,651.57 per year
