Looking for a Software Test Engineer who can do manual testing, automation testing, API testing, and web application testing.

& Responsibilities:

- Good understanding of SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
- Analyze functional requirement specifications and identify test scenarios
- Prepare and execute test cases for various test scenarios
- Experience in writing test cases for web-based applications and APIs
- Gather and manage test data for manual test execution
- Execute test cases, report defects, and track defects until closure
- Knowledge of bug life cycle and defect tracking process
- Perform functional, integration, system, and performance testing
- Work closely with development and project teams

Technical Skills:

Manual Testing:

- ➢ Good understanding of STLC and SDLC.
- ➢ Knowledge of Test Case, Test Scenario, Test Data, and Defect Life Cycle.
- ➢ Understanding of Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Functional, Retesting, and Exploratory Testing.
- ➢ Understanding of Severity and Priority.
- ➢ Basic knowledge of Boundary Value Analysis and Equivalence Partitioning.
- ➢ Ability to analyse requirements and identify positive and negative test scenarios.
- ➢ Good understanding of UI and usability testing concepts

API Testing:

- Basic understanding of API and web service concepts.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and HTTP methods.




- Understanding of HTTP status codes such as 200, 201, 400, 401, 403, 404, and 500.
- Ability to validate API request and response data.
- Understanding of request parameters, headers, request body, and response body.
- Basic knowledge of JSON and JSON data validation.
- Ability to test positive and negative API scenarios.
- Basic understanding of authentication and authorization.
- Hands-on or basic knowledge of Postman is preferred.
- Ability to identify defects related to API responses, validations, and data inconsistencies.

Automation Testing:

- Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
- Knowledge of automated testing fundamentals.
- Ability to understand and execute basic automation test scripts.
- Understanding of locators, assertions, waits, and basic automation framework concepts.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or any programming language is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of Page Object Model (POM) is preferred.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
