We are seeking high-potential, detail-oriented Fresh Engineering Graduates to join our engineering hub in Goa as Associate Software Test Engineers. In this role, you will work alongside solution architects, senior QA leads, and development teams to ensure high software quality across up-to-date web applications, mobile platforms, and backend services. This position offers a direct pathway into software quality engineering and test automation, providing hands-on training in testing methodologies, defect management, API verification, and CI/CD-driven quality lifecycles.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities1. Test Planning & Manual Test Execution

- Analyze software requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop structured test scenarios, test cases, and test data sets.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across responsive web applications and cross-platform mobile apps.
- Conduct UI/UX, cross-browser, and multi-device compatibility testing to identify layout breaks, responsiveness issues, and edge-case errors.

1. Defect Logging & Agile Collaboration

- Detect, investigate, and report software bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots/screen recordings, and environment details using tools such as JIRA.
- Collaborate closely with software developers to reproduce complex defects and verify bug fixes.
- Participate actively in daily Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions.

1. API & Database Testing Foundations

- Learn and assist in validating RESTful APIs using Postman to verify request/response payloads, status codes, and error formatting.
- Execute basic SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) to verify database integrity and ensure backend data consistency against front-end operations.

1. Exposure to Automation & Continuous Testing





- Gain practical exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium).
- Assist senior QA engineers in maintaining automated test scripts and integrating them into CI/CD build pipelines.

Candidate ProfileEducational Criteria
- Degree: B.E., B.Tech, M.E., or M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Non-Engineering Exception: MCA, M.Sc. (CS/IT), or B.Sc. (CS/IT) candidates will strictly only be considered in cases of exceptional technical skills, completed certifications, or a proven project portfolio.
- Year of Graduation: Recent pass-outs or final-year students ready for immediate full-time onboarding.

Core Foundations & Mindset
- Testing Concepts: Clear understanding of SDLC, STLC, test case design techniques, black-box testing methods, and defect life cycles.
- Technical Basics: Foundational knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and basic programming concepts (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Database Fundamentals: Basic knowledge of SQL for database querying and schema inspection.
- Analytical Skills: Strong logical thinking, curiosity to explore edge cases, and attention to detail.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to describe technical defects and interact effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications (The "Plus" Factors)
- Reputable certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level, Manual/Automation Testing bootcamps).
- Academic capstone projects or prior internship experience involving software testing, manual validation, or scripting.
- Basic familiarity with Git version control and tools like Postman or JIRA.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
