Software Engineer Field Application

Experience: 2–4 Years

Location: Navi Mumbai / Field Locations

Industry: Defence Electronics / RF & Microwave / Counter-UAS

Job Summary

We are looking for a Software Engineer – Field Application to support software development, hardware-software integration, testing, deployment and troubleshooting of RF, EW and Counter-UAS systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain software applications, GUI/HMI and system-control interfaces.
- Develop/integrate software modules for RF detection, spectrum monitoring, DF, jamming and CUAS systems.
- Interface software with RF hardware, SDRs, embedded systems and sensors using TCP/IP, UDP, Serial, REST APIs etc.
- Perform software integration, debugging, testing and system validation.
- Analyze application/system logs and troubleshoot field issues.
- Support FAT, SAT, UAT, demonstrations and defence trials.
- Configure and deploy software at customer/field locations.
- Coordinate with RF, Embedded, Electronics and System Engineering teams for issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports,



release notes and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical support and training to defence end users.

Technical Skills

- C++ / Python – Mandatory
- Qt / PyQt / GUI Development – Preferred
- OOP, multithreading and debugging
- TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, Serial communication
- Git / version control
- Linux/Windows application development
- Basic knowledge of RF, SDR, DSP, FFT, IQ data and signal processing
- Understanding of RF Detection, Direction Finding, Jamming, EW and CUAS will be an advantage.

Qualification B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Electronics or related engineering discipline.

Other Requirements

- Strong hardware-software integration and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field trials, demonstrations and customer deployments.
- Valuable technical documentation and communication skills.
