Role Description This is a full time remote role for a Software Engineer.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software examples, tools, and reference implementations that support Suitepedia’s educational content, with a focus on NetSuite and SuiteScript. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and well-documented code, reviewing and refactoring existing code samples, and collaborating with content creators to ensure technical accuracy.



The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, contributing to integration walkthroughs, and staying current with best practices in software engineering and NetSuite development.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-ready applications
- Hands-on Back-End Web Development skills, including APIs, server-side logic, and data persistence
- Practical experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and clean, modular code design
- Experience with NetSuite, SuiteScript, or similar ERP platforms is highly beneficial
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with clear communication and documentation practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, and modern development workflows
