Job Summary

Software Engineer II We have an opportunity for a Software Engineer II to join our SaaS Platform Engineering team in Pune, India, reporting to a Software Engineering Manager. This hybrid role requires two days per week in the Pune office. In this role, you will design, develop, and support core platform services that power Infoblox networking and security products.

You will work with senior engineers, architects, quality engineers, product managers, and customer-facing teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software. You are the ideal candidate if you are a thoughtful engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively across teams, and takes ownership from design through production support.

Be a Contributor - What You ll Do

- Design and implement high-quality, maintainable, and testable software for cloud- native platform services

- Internal Build and support backend services and APIs using Go and modern software engineering practices

- Develop and integrate REST and gRPC services that meet reliability, performance, and security expectations

- Create unit, integration, and smoke tests that provide meaningful code coverage

- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning

- Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, quality engineering, product management, and customer escalation teams to resolve complex technical challenges

- Diagnose production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve service observability and operational readiness





- Contribute to microservices deployed on Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

- Document technical designs, implementation decisions, and operational procedures

- Use AI-assisted development tools and relevant AI capabilities to improve productivity, code quality, and engineering outcomes

Be Prepared - What You Bring

- Four or more years of skilled software engineering experience

- Strong proficiency in Go and a solid understanding of software design and engineering fundamentals

- Experience designing or developing REST and gRPC APIs

- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP

- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, caching technologies such as Redis, and messaging systems such as Kafka

- Experience building reliable production software with automated testing, observability, and operational discipline

- Experience with AI-driven features, large language models, model inference APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development workflows is a plus

- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, written communication, and verbal communication skills

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
