About the Role We are looking for a motivated and technically strong Software Engineer Backend to join our engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) and hands-on experience developing backend applications using Java or Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code using Java or Python.
- Apply strong Data Structures & Algorithms knowledge to solve complex technical problems.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Work with databases and optimize queries and application performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, QA,
and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to system design, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
- Write unit tests and ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
- Stay updated with relevant backend technologies and engineering practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ years of qualified software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience building or working with backend applications/APIs.
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Good knowledge of software development and debugging practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Spring Boot or equivalent backend frameworks.
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP or cloud-based applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.
