Job Title: Social Science Teacher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to teach students from Classes 6 to 8. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related Social Science topics, while encouraging students to develop critical thinking, curiosity, and an understanding of society.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Social Science lessons for Classes 6–8.
- Teach History, Geography, Civics, and related topics according to the school curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, and assessments.
- Use interactive and student-centred teaching methods.
- Assess students' learning through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom participation.
- Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress.
- Provide appropriate feedback and additional support to students who need it.
- Encourage discussions, debates, presentations, and critical thinking.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive,



and well-disciplined classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress when required.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, workshops, and other academic responsibilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, or a related subject.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school regulations.
- Prior teaching experience with Classes 6–8 is preferred.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Pay: ₹11,401.83 - ₹36,094.29 per month
