About the organization The Positive Circle is a youth-led community focused on mental well-being, working to make conversations around mental health more accessible and normalized among young people. We're currently relaunching our offline events with a listening circle on 10th October (World Mental Health Day), an in-person session on women's experiences, co-facilitated with a clinical psychologist.
We're looking for a Social Media Intern to help us build our online presence as we relaunch. You'll be closely involved in shaping how The Positive Circle shows up online, starting with promotion for our first event back.
Responsibilities
- Plan and create content for Instagram and LinkedIn (posts, reels, stories)
- Manage DMs and comments, build engagement with our audience
- Support promotion for our 10th October listening circle
- Contribute ideas for content direction and community-building
What we're looking for
- Genuine interest in mental health and youth work, not just content creation
- Comfortable using Instagram/LinkedIn for organizational (not just personal) content
- Reliable and able to commit ~4-5 hrs/week through mid-October at minimum
- Bachelor's student preferred
