About Us

Kabadiwalla Connect Environmental Foundation (KCEF) is the not-for-profit arm of Kabadiwalla Connect Pvt. Ltd., a Chennai-based social enterprise. Alongside its work in community waste management, KCEF supports grassroots sport as a way of bringing young people together in shared public spaces. One of the programmes we work with is a children's tennis coaching programme, and we want to build an Instagram presence that shows people what good coaching really looks like.

About the Role

If you love sport and enjoy making reels on your phone, this role is built around exactly that.

Most of your work will be editing: turning footage into short, engaging videos for Instagram, writing captions, and keeping our content organised and on schedule. You will do nearly all of this on your phone, so no editing suite or expensive software is needed.

Shooting happens in short, planned bursts. For the tennis programme, we film during the first week of each month and spend the rest of the month editing and posting. For our community recycling programme, a team member films the Saturday events and passes the footage to you to turn into reels.

You will not be left to figure it out alone. You will get clear briefs, honest feedback on what worked and what did not, and plenty of chances to try again and improve.

What You Will Work On

Editing short-form videos and reels on your phone for two Instagram accounts.





Joining a planned shoot week at the tennis courts once a month.

Learning simple ways to frame and light shots so they look great on a phone screen.

Having short, relaxed conversations with coaches on camera.

Writing captions and short copy for posts.

Organising footage using a simple set of content guidelines.

Who We Are Looking For

Someone interested in sport.

Someone who already makes things, whether reels, edits, photos or content for their own accounts.

Someone comfortable chatting to new people.

Someone who enjoys feedback and likes getting better with each attempt.

No film or media degree is needed. Show us things you have made, however informal, and tell us why this role appeals to you. Enthusiasm matters more to us than polish.

Practical Requirements A smartphone with a good camera.

The ability to travel to Mylapore, Nungambakkam and occasional shoot locations within Chennai.

Compensation: This is a paid internship. Travel for work will be compensated.

Duration: 3 to 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
