Desh Ghumo is a travel company focused on creating memorable, engaging, and inclusive travel experiences. We are looking for a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator who can bring travel experiences, destinations, offers, and the Desh Ghumo brand to life through engaging digital content.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Content Planning & Strategy

- Develop weekly and monthly social media content calendars.
- Generate creative ideas for Reels, posts, stories, carousels, and campaigns.
- Research trending topics, formats, music, hashtags, and social media trends.
- Create content that connects with travel audiences and supports business goals.

2. Reels & Video Content

- Conceptualize, shoot, and create engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
- Write creative hooks, scripts, captions, and voice-over content.
- Shoot travel destinations, experiences, behind-the-scenes moments, team activities, customer experiences, and promotional content.
- Create destination-focused and travel-inspiration videos.
- Ensure videos have strong storytelling and engaging openings.

3. Social Media Management

- Manage and regularly update Desh Ghumo's Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Schedule and publish posts, Reels, Stories, and campaigns.
- Maintain consistency in the brand's tone, visuals, and communication.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement.

4. Photography & Videography

- Capture high-quality photographs and videos using smartphones/cameras.
- Plan shoots according to campaigns, destinations, offers, and company requirements.
- Maintain an organized library of raw footage, photographs, and completed content.

5. Travel & Brand Storytelling

- Convert destinations, travel experiences, customer stories,



and company activities into engaging social media content.
- Highlight Desh Ghumo's travel packages, unique experiences, offers, and brand values.
- Create relatable and informative travel content such as travel tips, destination guides, itineraries, FAQs, and travel hacks.

6. Editing & Creative Execution

- Edit short-form videos using tools such as CapCut, VN, Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar software.
- Add subtitles, transitions, music, effects, voiceovers, and other creative elements.
- Coordinate with graphic designers/video editors whenever required.

7. Performance & Growth

- Monitor reach, engagement, views, shares, saves, follower growth, and content performance.
- Identify which content formats perform well and improve future content accordingly.
- Prepare basic weekly/monthly social media performance reports.
- Stay updated with Instagram and YouTube trends and platform changes.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Social Media, Content Creation, Digital Marketing, Travel, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram and short-form video content.
- Valuable understanding of social media trends and audience behaviour.
- Strong communication, storytelling, and creative-thinking skills.
- Basic to good knowledge of video editing and graphic-design tools.
- Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple content requirements.
- A portfolio of previous Reels, videos, campaigns, or social media work will be preferred.
- Interest in travel and tourism will be an added advantage.
