About the RolenWe are looking for a Social Media Strategy & Account Manager who can combine strategic thinking, social media knowledge, client management and strong execution skills .
nThis person will be responsible for taking an account from understanding the client's business and developing the strategy to coordinating the creative team and ensuring final delivery.
nThis is not a coordination-only or forwarding role .
nThe person should be able to understand what the client needs, develop a strategic direction, create a strategy deck, present it to the client, brief the creative team, manage timelines, take feedback and ensure the work gets delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Client
Servicing & Account Managementn

- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
n
- Understand the client's business, objectives, audience, challenges and expectations.

- Build strong and professional client relationships.
n
- Conduct client calls and meetings independently.
n
- Take clear and comprehensive briefs.
n
- Convert client requirements into actionable internal briefs.
n
- Keep clients updated on project progress and timelines.
n
- Manage expectations around scope, timelines and revisions.

- Handle client feedback professionally and constructively.

- Identify potential issues before they become client escalations.

- Take ownership of the account from brief to final delivery.

- Develop social media strategies aligned with the client's business and communication objectives.

- Understand the client's brand positioning, audience and category.

- Conduct basic competitor, category and audience research .

- Identify relevant social media opportunities and trends.

Decks & PresentationsnThe candidate should be comfortable creating strategy decks independently , not simply presenting decks created by someone else.
nResponsibilities include:

- Creating client strategy presentations in PowerPoint / Google Slides .

- Structuring a strategy logically around:

nBusiness Objective → Audience → Insight → Strategy → Communication Idea → Content Pillars → Execution → Content Calendar → KPIs

- Turning research and insights into clear recommendations.
n
- Creating visually clear and persuasive presentations.
n
- Presenting strategies to clients.
n
- Explaining the rationale behind recommendations.
n
- Handling questions and feedback during presentations.

- Revising the strategy based on client inputs.

“I have understood the requirement, briefed the designer, followed up on the work, reviewed the first version, incorporated the feedback and taken it to final approval.” 6. Quality ControlnBefore anything goes to the client, the Account Manager should review the work.

8. Deadline & Delivery ManagementnThis is a critical part of the role.

- Maintain account-wise project trackers.
n
- Track every deliverable from brief to final approval.
n
- Ensure committed deadlines are met.
n
- Follow up proactively with the team.
n
- Identify delays before they happen.
n
- Communicate potential delays to the client in advance.
n
- Escalate internally when required.
n
- Take ownership of getting work across the finish line.

nIf a deliverable is committed for today , the Account Manager is expected to own the delivery — even when there are challenges within the team.
