Role Description The SMSF Accountant will be responsible for managing Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) accounting, compliance, and reporting for Australian clients. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, tax returns, and work papers for SMSFs, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Australian superannuation and taxation regulations.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and client contacts, reviewing source documents, maintaining accurate records, and resolving accounting and compliance queries. The SMSF Accountant will also assist with related bookkeeping, BAS,



and payroll processes as needed to support client portfolios. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Strong SMSF accounting and compliance skills, including preparation of SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and audit work papers.
- Proficiency in general accounting and bookkeeping, including reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and preparation of BAS and related reports.
- Knowledge of Australian taxation and superannuation regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant compliance requirements.
- Experience with accounting and SMSF software platforms, spreadsheets, and other standard office productivity tools.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members and liaise with client stakeholders.
- Ability to work to deadlines, manage multiple assignments, and maintain professional integrity and confidentiality.
