Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor – Electrical to oversee and manage on-site activities for electrical installation projects. The ideal candidate will ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with technical specifications and local electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all electrical installation activities on-site including wiring, conduit installation, switchgear, and panel board setup., transformer, substation
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to plans and specifications.
- Maintain and update site documentation including daily progress reports, attendance, materials received, and site issues.
- Manage site labor and allocate tasks to electricians and helpers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure the team follows health and safety protocols.
- Liaise with clients and consultants for inspections and approvals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI in Electrical or Diploma Engineering or related field (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Valid electrician license/certification (if required by local regulations).
- Proven experience as a site supervisor or foreman in electrical contracting.
- Familiarity with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
