: Site Supervisor (Telecom Industry)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Telecom Site Supervisor to manage and oversee our daily field operations. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising on-site technicians, engineers, and subcontractors engaged in telecom infrastructure deployment. This includes cell tower construction, 4G/5G equipment installations, and fiber optic rollouts (OSP/ISP).

Your primary goal will be to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in strict alignment with engineering designs, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- On-Site Construction Management: Oversee all civil, electrical, and structural works at telecom sites, ensuring construction matches approved engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Allocate daily tasks to field technicians and subcontractors, tracking their productivity and managing in office resource requirements.
- Material & Inventory Tracking: Receive, inspect, and manage telecom materials (e.g., antennas, cables, racks, power units) arriving at the site to prevent delays or inventory loss.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed installations—including cable routing, structural mounts, grounding, and labelling—to guarantee adherence to telecom industry standards.
- Safety & Compliance Enforcement: Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce absolute compliance with safety policies, especially regarding working at heights, RF radiation awareness,



and proper PPE use.
- Progress Reporting: Maintain precise site diaries, track project milestones, and provide daily / weekly progress updates (including site photographs) to the Project Manager.
- Testing & Handover: Assist with site commissioning, acceptance testing, and compiling close-out documentation (As-Built drawings) for formal handover to the client or operations team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Telecommunication Engineering. Equivalent field experience will be considered.

Experience

2 to 6+ years of proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Team Lead in telecom rollouts (IBS, Macro sites, or Fiber optics).

Technical Knowledge

- Deep understanding of cell site infrastructure, power systems (DG, UPS, Solar), and civil foundations.
- Ability to interpret technical telecom layouts and structural drawings.
- Freshers will be trained under experienced Management

Certifications

- Valid certification for Working at Heights / Tower Climbing is highly preferred.
- General site safety certification.

Physical & Travel Must possess a valid driver’s license, be willing to travel extensively to remote locations, and be physically fit to work in outdoor environments.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
