Role & responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 15 to 20 core engineering personnel at project sites.

- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure project activities are executed as per approved schedules and timelines.

- Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

- Review and interpret project drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.

- Ensure all site activities comply with project quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, technical documentation, and manpower deployment records.

- Monitor project progress, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure timely project completion.

- Coordinate site execution activities including civil, electrical, mechanical, and balance of system works for utility-scale solar projects.

- Maintain RFIs, inspection requests, testing records, checklists, and other project-related documentation.

- Maintain inspection reports, test records, quality documents, and as-built documentation.

- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and safety audits to ensure compliance with approved procedures.

- Ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment, and project resources within budget.

- Resolve site-level technical issues and coordinate with engineering/design teams for timely solutions.





- Support project commissioning, energization, synchronization, and handover activities.

- Ensure proper implementation of HSE practices and maintain a safe working environment at site.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical / Construction Management, or a related field

- Minimum 10 to 15 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years of relevant experience in renewable energy / solar EPC projects or project-based companies.

- Proven experience in handling utility-scale solar project site execution and team management.

- Strong understanding of project execution methodologies, construction activities, and site management practices.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- In-depth knowledge of utility-scale solar project execution and site operations.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

- Solid project coordination and execution management skills.

- Familiarity with electrical systems and solar plant equipment.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Experience in handling project planning, progress monitoring, and resource management.

- Familiarity with site safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory compliance.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines
