Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Kolkata for a Site Engineer — IoT Installations. The role involves planning, installing, and commissioning IoT devices and PLC-based systems at client locations, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure.

The Site

Engineer will conduct site surveys, verify technical requirements, and coordinate with project managers and clients to align installation activities with project timelines.

Responsibilities include performing quality checks, troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues, documenting installation details,



and supporting testing and validation of condition monitoring and predictive maintenance systems. The role also requires regular reporting on site progress, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in on-site environments, including client facilities and field locations.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience in quality control practices related to installations, testing, and system performance verification.
- Background in structural engineering or civil engineering, with an understanding of site layouts and infrastructure considerations.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Civil, or related engineering field.
- Knowledge of PLCs, IoT devices, sensors, and industrial networking is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites within and around Kolkata as project needs require.
