1. Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate interior fit-out works at the project site and ensure that work is completed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedule.

1. Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

- Supervise day-to-day interior and fit-out activities at the site.
- Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and client requirements.
- Coordinate activities such as civil, carpentry, furniture installation, ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, glass, metal and other interior works.
- Check measurements and ensure proper installation and finishing.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the Project Manager for timely resolution.

Drawing & Technical Coordination

- Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings and site layouts.
- Coordinate with the Design and Production teams regarding drawings and site requirements.
- Verify dimensions and site conditions before execution.
- Report discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions.

Manpower & Contractor Coordination

- Supervise carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, installers and other workers at site.
- Allocate daily work to workers and subcontractors.
- Monitor manpower productivity and attendance.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of activities.

Material Management

- Check materials received at site against requirements.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
- Raise material requirements in advance to avoid work stoppage.




- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage and damage.

Quality Control

- Inspect workmanship and finished work regularly.
- Ensure proper alignment, levels, dimensions, finishing and installation quality.
- Identify defects and ensure rectification before handover.
- Maintain quality standards as specified by the company and client.

Project Schedule

- Monitor daily progress against the project schedule.
- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Highlight delays, manpower shortages and material shortages to the reporting manager.
- Coordinate activities to avoid delays and dependency issues.

Safety

- Ensure workers follow site safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Conduct basic safety checks at the work area.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents or incidents immediately.
- Ensure housekeeping and proper disposal of waste at site.

Client & Consultant Coordination

- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and other contractors when required.
- Attend site meetings and communicate project requirements to the site team.
- Record client instructions and ensure proper implementation after approval.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain daily progress reports, measurement records and site instructions.
- Maintain material receipt and consumption records.
- Prepare snag lists and follow up on closure.
- Maintain photographs and other site documentation.




- Submit regular updates to the Project Manager / Site Head.

- Quality of workmanship.
- Reduction in rework and material wastage.
- Effective manpower utilization.
- Timely identification and resolution of site issues.
- Compliance with safety procedures.
- Accuracy of measurements and documentation.
- Client/consultant satisfaction.
- Timely completion of snagging and handover.

1. Required Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction or related field.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out, retail projects, commercial interiors or construction.
- Freshers may be considered for Trainee Site Engineer positions.

1. Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of interior site execution.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
- Knowledge of civil and interior finishing works.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing coordination.
- Manpower and subcontractor handling skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word and email.
- Ability to prepare site reports.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work extended hours when project requirements demand.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
