Key Responsibilities

1. Basic BBS (Bar Bending Schedule)

· Prepare and check basic Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for reinforcement works as per approved structural drawings.

· Verify bar diameter, cutting length, shape, quantity, laps, bends, and reinforcement details.

· Coordinate with the site team and bar-bending workers for correct reinforcement execution.

· Maintain records of reinforcement quantities and consumption.

2. Quantity Estimation

· Prepare basic quantity estimates for concrete, reinforcement steel, shuttering, masonry, and other construction activities.

· Take site measurements and verify executed quantities.

· Assist in preparation of material requirements based on planned activities.

· Check quantities against drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.

3. Labour Management

· Allocate labour according to daily work requirements and project priorities.

· Monitor labour productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower.

· Coordinate with supervisors and subcontractors for smooth execution of work.

· Maintain discipline and ensure workers follow safety and site procedures.

4. DPR & MPR

· Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) covering manpower, work progress, quantities, materials, and site issues.

· Assist in preparing Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) and compiling project progress data.

· Record delays, constraints, and completed activities accurately.

· Coordinate with the Project Manager / Site In-Charge for progress updates.

5. Basic Material Testing & Quality

· Assist in basic material testing and quality checks for cement, aggregates, concrete, reinforcement steel,



and other construction materials.

· Ensure materials received at site meet approved specifications and project requirements.

· Coordinate with the quality team/laboratory for required tests and maintain test records.

· Monitor construction work for compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

6. Site Execution & Coordination

· Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, consultants, and other site teams.

· Identify site issues and coordinate for timely resolution.

· Ensure proper use and care of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

· Support the Project Manager / Site In-Charge in achieving project targets and schedules.

Key Skills & Competencies

· Basic knowledge of civil construction and site execution.

· Basic knowledge of BBS, quantity estimation, and measurement.

· Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

· Good labour coordination and communication skills.

· Ability to prepare DPR/MPR and maintain site records.

· Basic understanding of construction material testing and quality control.

· Ability to work under site conditions and meet project deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering.

· Relevant experience in construction site execution is preferred.

· Freshers with valuable technical knowledge may also be considered.

Pay: ₹10,967.31 - ₹35,000.00 per month
