Role & responsibilities

- Site Execution & Installation Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day installation of MEP services (electrical power distribution, cable trays, conduits, HVAC ducting, plumbing lines, and firefighting systems) according to approved drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and interior finishing teams on site to resolve spatial clashes, service routing conflicts, and drawing discrepancies.
- Monitor contractor and labor productivity to ensure daily and weekly site execution targets are achieved.
- Quality Assurance & Testing
- Conduct routine inspections of delivered MEP materials (pipes, cables, switchgear, light fixtures) to ensure they meet project specifications and IS/international codes.
- Supervise site testing and commissioning activities, including pressure testing for pipes, continuity/megger testing for cables, and pre-commissioning checks.
- Maintain comprehensive site quality checklists, installation logs, and measurement records (MB).
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track site material consumption, equipment deployment, and work progress against master construction schedules.
- Report bottlenecks, delays, or technical challenges immediately to the Project Manager along with proposed solutions.




- Assist the billing team by providing accurate site measurements and joint inspection sign-offs for subcontractor running account (RA) bills.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce rigorous on-site safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and mandatory PPE compliance across all MEP teams.
- Conduct safety toolbox talks and ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and fire safety regulations during installation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management (or Diploma in EEE/Mech with extensive experience).
- Experience: 3 to 7+ years of hands-on site execution experience in MEP services for commercial buildings, industrial plants, or residential high-rises.
- Technical Competencies:
- Strong ability to read and interpret MEP layout drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and shop drawings.
- Working knowledge of local building codes, statutory norms, and MEP coordination practices.
- Familiarity with site surveying tools and measurement techniques.
- Soft Skills: Strong in office communication, active problem-solving abilities, and physical stamina for active construction site environments.
