Role Overview

The ADAS VnV Technical Lead is responsible for leading the verification and validation (V&V;) activities of ADAS functions. This role combines hands-on expertise in test automation, scenario modelling and scenario-based validation with leadership responsibilities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safety-critical software components. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) at Level 2, 2+, and 3, and manages the end-to-end software validation lifecycle aligned with ASPICE standards (SWE.4 to SYS.5).

Lead drives test strategy promotes best practices in automation and continuous integration and ensures thorough coverage across functional and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to Requirements review, Test specification, implementation, execution and analysis of functional, and system-level test cases for ADAS Driving functionalities, ensuring alignment with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.
- Understand detailed design documentation/interface architectures and create corresponding test specifications (SWE.4-SYS.5) and create test cases using python based internal tooling
- Analyze system and software requirements, including interface specifications, to derive functional and scenario-based test cases (SWE.6).

- Use GIT for source control, test asset versioning, and collaboration within multi-developer teams.
- Operate in Linux environments, using command-line tools to work with data platforms
- Stay open to adopting AI/ML-based techniques in the future for enhanced test intelligence and automation.
- Guide and mentor a team of test engineers in test development, execution, and evaluation for ADAS features.
- Encourage a proactive, quality-first mindset and promote technical growth through knowledge sharing and continuous feedback.
- Facilitate code reviews, process improvements, and innovation within the team.
- Support hiring, onboarding,



and career progression of team members to meet evolving project needs.
- Expertise in Test Design, techniques, Test strategies, Plan and methods.
- Expertise in multiple domain technologies such as ADAS

Skills :

- Bachelor’s degree in ECE, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in SWE.4,SWE.6,SYS.5 testing with a strong focus on ADAS- L2,L2+,L3 software & systems V&V;

- Proficient in Python
- 5+ years of experience in test framework development in Python, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems
- Testing exposure in ADAS features like Driving, Active Safety, Traffic Sign Visualization/recognition is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Vehicle Dynamics
- Experience in scenario-based testing. open Scenario/VTD/IPG CarMaker
- Proven expertise in test automation and verification techniques across various test levels (unit, functional, integration and qualification testing).
- Solid understanding of Functional Safety standards, particularly ISO 26262 and ASPICE process knowledge.
- Skilled in working with SIL models and test framework updates, including scenario generator and model integration.
- Proficient with CarMaker or similar tools for generating road files, setting up test environments, and integrating with 3rd party tools
- Familiarity with test evaluation logging
- Experienced with GIT for version control, test script management, and collaboration workflows.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts is considered a plus for future enhancements in test automation and analytics.
- ISTQB Test certification is a solid plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Docker, and Jenkins is desirable.

- Good to have
- Knowledge and experience in AI/ML validation techniques, particularly in the context of perception systems and data-driven ADAS features.
- 5+ years of experience in test framework development in Python, preferably in automotive or ADAS systems
