nKey Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end solution architecture and technical design for headless Shopify B2B commerce solutions.
n
- Define scalable and maintainable architecture using Shopify, React, Next.js, and enterprise integration patterns .
n
- Design and implement integrations between Shopify, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
n
- Define appropriate integration patterns using REST, GraphQL, middleware, and iPaaS platforms .
n
- Design solutions leveraging Shopify Storefront API and Admin API capabilities.
n
- Provide technical guidance for Shopify B2B features, including Companies and Company Locations .
n
- Define architecture principles, technical standards, design patterns, and development guidelines.
n
- Establish and enforce technical governance across application and integration components.
n
- Define and validate non-functional requirements (NFRs) covering scalability, availability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
n
- Design caching, performance optimization, and scalability strategies for high-volume B2B commerce applications.
n
- Define application and integration security architecture, including authentication, authorization, API security, and data protection.
n
- Establish observability strategies covering logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting, and application health.
n
- Conduct architecture, technical, and code reviews to ensure adherence to defined standards and best practices.
n
- Identify technical risks, architectural constraints, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, developers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, SAP teams, and business stakeholders.
n
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and engineering teams.
n




- Support technical estimation, solution feasibility assessments, and implementation planning.
n
- Ensure architectural decisions are appropriately documented and maintained in platforms such as Confluence .
n

nTechnical Skills / Experience

n

n
- Solid experience in Headless Shopify architecture and B2B commerce solutions .
n
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js .
n
- Extensive knowledge of Shopify Storefront API and Admin API .
n
- Good understanding of Shopify B2B Companies, Company Locations, catalogs, pricing, and customer-specific commerce capabilities .
n
- Strong experience in integration architecture and enterprise integration patterns .
n
- Proficiency in REST APIs and GraphQL .
n
- Experience designing and implementing SAP integration patterns , particularly for commerce and order-to-cash processes.
n
- Experience with middleware / iPaaS platforms and API integration solutions.
n
- Strong understanding of application, API, and integration security principles .
n
- Experience with caching strategies, performance optimization, and scalability .
n
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting .
n
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and modern web application development is preferred.
n
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automated deployment processes is an advantage.

nPreferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
n
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Lead in digital commerce or enterprise transformation programs.
n
- Strong experience with Shopify Plus / Shopify B2B implementations is preferred.
n
- Experience integrating Shopify with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC is an advantage.
n
- Relevant cloud, architecture, Shopify, or enterprise integration certifications are a plus.
n
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.
n
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
