Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.

- Supervise production operators and workers during the assigned shift.

- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.

- Monitor production output and achieve shift-wise production targets.

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.

- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth production.

- Monitor machine performance and immediately report breakdowns or abnormalities to the Maintenance team.

- Maintain proper production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and material consumption records.

- Identify production losses, wastage, rework, and process-related issues and take corrective action.

- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.

- Follow all company SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S practices.





- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area.

- Train and guide operators regarding production processes, safety, quality, and work practices.

- Conduct proper shift handover and communicate pending activities/issues to the next shift.

- Report production deviations, quality issues, manpower shortages, and other critical matters to the Production Manager.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, cost reduction, and process efficiency. Role & responsibilities
