Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced SharePoint and Power Platform Solution Architect to lead a SharePoint Online modernization initiative across Microsoft 365.

The ideal candidate should have strong solution architecture experience across SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365, with the ability to determine when to use native SharePoint capabilities, low-code Power Platform solutions, commercial components, or custom development.

The architect will focus on creating maintainable, governed, secure, and user-friendly solutions while keeping SharePoint Online as the primary system of engagement and document source.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess the existing SharePoint application, pages, libraries, lists, metadata, navigation, permissions, and supporting processes.
- Define the target SharePoint experience and modernization architecture.
- Design improvements to navigation, classification, lifecycle visibility, ownership, and content presentation.
- Architect document intake, upload, publishing, approval, validation, and information-refresh workflows.
- Determine the appropriate use of:
- SharePoint Online
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Telerik components
- Colligo solutions
- Copilot Studio
- Custom components
- Evaluate third-party components for compatibility, maintainability, accessibility, performance, security, and supportability.
- Define how Telerik and Colligo solutions should align with SharePoint governance, metadata, permissions, content types, retention, and lifecycle requirements.
- Establish standards for solution packaging, environments, testing, deployment, upgrades, and ongoing support.




- Collaborate with SharePoint developers on component architecture, integration patterns, implementation decisions, and technical reviews.
- Work with Enterprise Information Architects on metadata, classification, ownership, content types, and lifecycle standards.
- Collaborate with Microsoft Fabric teams on source content, metadata, ingestion, and change management.
- Support custom Copilot experiences involving SharePoint content and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Create and maintain a prioritized SharePoint modernization and improvement backlog.
- Provide production architecture recommendations based on proof-of-value findings.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and enterprise application development.
- Advanced experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
- Strong solution architecture experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Working knowledge of:
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Microsoft Graph
- SharePoint APIs
- Identity and permissions
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Experience designing modern SharePoint experiences and document-centric workflows.
- Experience evaluating and governing third-party products and commercial components within Microsoft 365 environments.
- Strong understanding of configuration vs. low-code vs. commercial products vs. custom development trade-offs.
- Robust understanding of governance,



security, accessibility, maintainability, and user-centred design.

Preferred Skills
- Telerik experience, including component dependencies, licensing, upgrades, accessibility, performance, security, and supportability.
- Colligo experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 content management.
- Experience troubleshooting or planning upgrades for Telerik- or Colligo-dependent SharePoint solutions.
