Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and qualified IBBI-Registered Valuer - Securities or Financial Assets (SFA) to handle valuation assignments involving financial instruments and securities. The role will be responsible for conducting independent valuations in accordance with applicable IBBI regulations, valuation standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.

The position will primarily support assignments related to insolvency proceedings, mergers & acquisitions, fundraising, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution .

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct valuations of equity shares, preference shares, debentures, derivatives, business interests, and other securities or financial assets.
- Prepare comprehensive valuation reports in accordance with applicable IBBI guidelines and valuation standards.
- Undertake valuation assignments related to CIRP, liquidation, M&A;, fundraising, SEBI, FEMA, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements.
- Apply appropriate valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Market Approach, Comparable Companies, Comparable Transactions , and other relevant methods.
- Develop and review financial models, perform financial analysis, and interpret complex financial data.
- Work closely with Insolvency Professionals, Resolution Applicants, Financial Creditors, legal advisors, and other stakeholders .
- Participate in stakeholder discussions and Committee of Creditors (CoC) meetings , wherever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable valuation standards, IBBI regulations, accounting standards,



and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper working papers, supporting documents, assumptions, and audit trails for valuation assignments.
- Coordinate with internal/external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other professional advisors as required.
- Conduct independent research and analysis to support valuation conclusions and prepare detailed documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

- IBBI Registration as a Valuer for Securities or Financial Assets (SFA) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of valuation principles, methodologies, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in financial modelling and valuation analysis .
- Good understanding of DCF, market approach, comparable company and transaction methodologies .
- Knowledge of valuation requirements under IBBI, Companies Act, SEBI, FEMA, and Income Tax regulations .
- Strong analytical, financial, report-writing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage valuation assignments and meet deadlines.
- Solid proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling tools .

Preferred Experience

- Prior experience in valuation, transaction advisory, insolvency, investment banking, corporate finance, or financial due diligence will be preferred.
- Experience handling valuation assignments for CIRP/Liquidation, M&A;, fundraising, or regulatory purposes will be an advantage.
