Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HAM Lead Developer with strong hands-on experience in Hardware Asset Management, asset lifecycle management, ServiceNow development, data management, remediation, and technical support.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling HAM-related incidents and tasks, providing L2/L3 technical support, maintaining accurate asset data, supporting integrations and data imports, and delivering configuration and development enhancements within ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day tasks, incidents, and remediation activities related to ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Ensure HAM-related tickets and activities are completed within agreed SLAs.

Provide L2/L3 technical support for asset and inventory-related issues.

Monitor and manage HAM operations queries and asset-related requests.

Work with vendor partners to track devices, coordinate device returns/corrections, and ensure accurate asset updates in ServiceNow.

Escalate vendor or operational issues to the appropriate HAM management team when required.

Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date technology asset inventory in ServiceNow.

Manage ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) field updates and correct asset records when required.

Analyze asset-data imports using Import Sets and Transform Maps.

Perform remediation activities for asset-data discrepancies and import failures.

Ensure correct maintenance of asset lifecycle stages from procurement through retirement.

Perform minor development and enhancement activities related to HAM.

Work on user stories,



defect fixes, and configuration changes.

Implement configuration changes while maintaining production stability.

Identify recurring issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Ensure asset normalization and data-consistency standards are maintained.

Support HAM-related audit and compliance activities.

Document solutions and create or update knowledge articles as required.

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of relevant ServiceNow development experience.

Robust hands-on experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Experience handling HAM-related incidents, tasks, remediation, and operational activities.

Strong understanding of asset inventory and asset lifecycle management.

Experience providing L2/L3 technical support for asset and inventory issues.

Hands-on experience with:

Import Sets

Transform Maps

Data remediation

Asset normalization

Configuration changes

User stories and defect fixes

Experience working with vendor partners and asset-related operational processes.

Experience with ServiceNow development and configuration.

Ability to troubleshoot issues and support Root Cause Analysis.

Understanding of HAM-related audit, compliance, and data-quality requirements.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow HAM operations, asset lifecycle management, technical support, data remediation, asset normalization, and ServiceNow development/enhancement activities will be preferred.
