Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Jamnagar.

The Service

Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair of AMETEK instruments and systems at customer locations.

Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing troubleshooting procedures, and providing timely field service and technical support to ensure equipment reliability and performance. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and service documentation, preparing service reports,



and ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.

The Service

Engineer will also interact with customers to explain findings, provide operational guidance, and support continuous improvement of service processes.

Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor's in Engineering — Electrical, Electronics or related field
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support for industrial equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote and on-site assistance, documentation, and customer training.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills, with hands-on experience in servicing instrumentation, control systems, or related equipment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Ability to read technical drawings, use diagnostic tools, and follow safety and quality procedures.
- Willingness to travel for on-site service assignments and work in industrial environments.
- Prior experience in industrial instrumentation or automation is an advantage.
