Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Cashier to manage cashiering operations, billing, cash handling, and daily financial transactions at our restaurant. The candidate should have positive knowledge of POS systems, restaurant billing procedures, cash reconciliation, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cashiering and billing operations efficiently.
- Operate the restaurant POS and billing system accurately.
- Process cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions.
- Ensure accurate billing and proper collection of payments.
- Maintain daily cash and transaction records.
- Perform cash reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Prepare daily cashier closing reports and submit them to the concerned department.
- Verify discounts, complimentary bills, voids, cancellations, and refunds as per company policy.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, Finance Team, and F&B; team regarding billing and payment-related matters.
- Maintain proper records of cash, credit card, UPI, and other payment settlements.
- Identify and report discrepancies in cash or billing transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company cash-handling and billing procedures.
- Support junior cashiers and guide them on billing and cashiering procedures.
- Ensure proper handover of cash and documents between shifts.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
- Handle guest billing queries professionally and provide appropriate assistance.




- Ensure the cashier counter and related documents are maintained properly.
- Follow all company policies, SOPs, hygiene standards, and security procedures.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in cashiering, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Experience in a fine dining restaurant, hotel, QSR, or premium hospitality environment will be an advantage.
- Graduate or relevant qualification in Commerce, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience with POS and restaurant billing systems.
- Good knowledge of cash handling and payment reconciliation.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be responsible, trustworthy, organized, and comfortable handling financial transactions in a busy restaurant environment. Experience in a premium or fine-dining hospitality setup will be preferred.

Pay: ₹8,326.71 - ₹24,780.62 per month
