About The Role

We are seeking a dependable and technically capable individual to join our team as a Website & SEO Technical Assistant. This is an entry-level, full-time position designed for candidates eager to develop their skills in website management, SEO monitoring, content editing, and technical testing. The role offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, supporting our website operations and ensuring optimal performance across our digital platforms.

While prior experience in SEO or web development is not mandatory, a strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn are essential. The position involves working during U.S. business hours, with training provided to help you succeed in your responsibilities.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a foundational understanding of computers and internet technologies. Educational qualifications such as COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) training through an ITI, BCA, B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology, diploma in computer science, or similar certifications are highly encouraged. Candidates with basic knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS,



and website hosting are preferred but not required.

Strong communication skills in English, attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities are vital. Reliable internet access and a suitable computer for daily work are necessary. Demonstrated curiosity about technology, self-motivation, and the ability to follow instructions carefully will set you apart.

Prior experience with SEO tools, website analytics, or content management systems is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will encompass a range of website operations, including SEO monitoring, content management, and technical testing. Specific duties include:

- Monitoring website keyword rankings and search visibility to track SEO performance.
- Reviewing Google Search Console data to analyze indexing, impressions, and clicks.
- Identifying significant fluctuations in search rankings and addressing potential issues.
- Preparing detailed SEO performance reports and maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
- Assisting in basic keyword research and competitor analysis to inform optimization strategies.
- Adding, updating, and formatting website content within WordPress, including articles, pages, images, and links.
- Managing website structure by configuring menus, widgets, and settings.
- Installing, updating, and troubleshooting WordPress plugins and themes to ensure website functionality and security.
- Performing routine website maintenance,



including troubleshooting common issues and testing after updates.
- Assisting in testing recent plugins and website features, documenting bugs, and reporting issues to the development team.
- Making basic HTML/CSS modifications when necessary to improve website presentation.

While you are not expected to be a professional web designer or PHP programmer, a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes is essential for success in this role.
