About the Role

We are looking for a curious, analytical, and research-oriented SEO skilled who can go beyond routine SEO activities.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO, along with strong reasoning, research, content analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

Since our work involves AI, technology, market intelligence, and research-driven content, the candidate should be comfortable working with AI-related topics, emerging technologies, and AI-powered search/content tools.

This role is suitable for someone who wants to build a strong career in SEO, AI Search, Content Intelligence, and Digital Marketing.

Key Responsibilities SEO & Search Optimization

- Execute On-Page SEO activities including:
- Keyword research and mapping
- Title tags and meta descriptions
- Heading structure and content optimization
- Internal linking
- URL optimization
- Image optimization
- Search intent analysis
- Content optimization and refreshes
- Handle Off-Page SEO activities including:
- Link-building research
- Competitor backlink analysis
- Outreach and link acquisition
- Directory/business listings where relevant
- Identifying quality link-building opportunities
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and other SEO performance indicators.
- Identify SEO issues and recommend practical solutions.

Research & Analytical Thinking

This is an important part of the role.

The candidate should be able to:

- Research a topic independently using Google and other reliable sources.
- Understand search intent and determine what users are actually looking for.
- Analyze competitors and identify content/SEO gaps.
- Compare multiple sources and identify useful, reliable information.
- Break down complex topics into clear and actionable insights.
- Use reasoning rather than simply following predefined instructions.
- Investigate why a page is not performing and suggest possible improvements.
- Learn new industries, technologies and topics quickly.





AI & Emerging Technology The candidate should be comfortable working around AI-related topics and tools.

Responsibilities may include

- Researching AI, Generative AI, LLMs, AI tools and emerging technologies.
- Understanding how AI is changing search and content discovery.
- Exploring AI Search / Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) concepts.
- Using AI tools responsibly for research, ideation and productivity.
- Fact-checking and improving AI-generated content rather than blindly publishing it.
- Understanding the difference between AI-generated information and verified information.

You don't need to be a programmer. However, you should be curious about technology and comfortable learning AI-related concepts.

Required SkillsMust Have

- 1–2 years of practical SEO experience.
- Good understanding of On-Page and Off-Page SEO.
- Knowledge of keyword research and search intent.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar tools.
- Good research and information-gathering skills.
- Strong reasoning and analytical ability.
- Good written English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to learn AI and emerging search technologies.

Good to Have
- Experience with B2B, technology, SaaS, IT or research-based websites.
- Understanding of AI/Generative AI/LLMs.
- Knowledge of AEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) or AI Search.
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of Google algorithm updates.
- Experience analyzing competitors and backlink profiles.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms.

What We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone who only knows how to create backlinks or insert keywords into articles.





We are looking for someone who can think and investigate.

You should be able to receive a task such as:

"This competitor is ranking above us. Find out why and suggest what we should do."

…and independently research the SERPs, competitors, content, backlinks, search intent and other relevant factors before presenting your findings.

Interview Process The selection process may include:

1. Initial Screening

Basic experience, communication and SEO knowledge.

2. SEO & Reasoning Assessment

Questions/tasks related to SEO, research, search intent and problem-solving.

3. Practical Task A short real-world SEO research/analysis assignment.

4. Final Interview

Discussion about experience, approach to SEO, research methodology and AI.

Compensation

₹12,000 – ₹15,000 per month

Final compensation will be decided based on the candidate's:
