The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of SEO practices and be interested in working on real client projects across different industries.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and identify opportunities to improve organic search visibility.
- Perform on-page SEO activities including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal linking, and content optimisation.
- Analyse website performance and identify SEO issues and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and website visibility.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, conversions, and other SEO KPIs.
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, and other SEO platforms to analyse performance.
- Conduct competitor and SERP analysis to identify content gaps and ranking opportunities.
- Plan and optimise SEO-friendly website content, blogs, landing pages, and other digital content.
- Coordinate with content writers, designers, and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
- Assist with technical SEO activities, including website audits, crawlability, indexing, site structure, page speed, and broken links.
- Support local SEO activities, including Google Business Profile optimisation and local search visibility.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities where required.
- Prepare monthly SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, search trends, AI search,



and emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) practices.
- Continuously research new SEO techniques, tools, and strategies to improve client performance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and off-page SEO.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Knowledge of tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with creative, content, and development teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in search algorithms and digital marketing trends.
