Sentinel Solution Architect - Intelligent Secure Productivity Group The Opportunity

As a Sentinel Solution Architect within our Intelligent Secure Productivity Group, you will architect and deliver transformative Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR solutions for enterprise clients across India and the GCC. You will play a pivotal role in shaping security operations, driving best-in-class detection engineering, and enabling scalable, cost-optimized security platforms. Your expertise will directly influence our clients resilience against evolving cyber threats, while positioning BluForge as a leader in secure digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive end-to-end design and deployment of Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR solutions, ensuring robust, scalable, and compliant architectures for enterprise and MSSP environments.
- Lead discovery workshops, author high- and low-level designs (HLD/LLD), and blueprint solutions that align with client objectives and regulatory frameworks.
- Design and optimize data connector strategies, log ingestion, and cost management to deliver operational excellence and measurable ROI.
- Establish and govern detection engineering standards, including advanced analytics, threat hunting, ASIM normalization, and MITRE ATT&CK; alignment for enhanced security outcomes.
- Deliver compelling RFP responses, technical proposals, and impactful customer demonstrations in partnership with pre-sales teams to accelerate business growth.
- Guide SOC Leads and engineering teams on platform strategy, technical roadmap, and best practices for multi-tenant and multi-workspace operations.
- Act as the technical escalation point for architectural challenges, ensuring seamless project delivery from inception through go-live and transition to managed operations.
- Provide thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and executive briefings, while mentoring and certifying the Sentinel engineering and administration bench.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Defender XDR suite, including MDE (Defender for Endpoint), MDI (Defender for Identity), MDO (Defender for Office 365), MDA (Defender for Applications), MDC (Defender for Cloud)
- SC-100 certification (Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert)
- SC-200 certification (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate)

- Data Connector Design & Log Ingestion Strategy (Priority: 4/5):

- Data connector design, log ingestion strategy, and cost optimization (Commitment Tiers, Basic/Archive logs, Data Collection Rules)

- Detection Engineering & Analytics (Priority: 3/5):

- Advanced KQL (Kusto Query Language) for analytics rules, hunting queries, parsers (ASIM), Watchlists, detection content quality review, MITRE ATT&CK; alignment

- SOAR Design & Automation (Priority: 3/5):

- SOAR design including Logic Apps, Automation Rules, Playbooks for streamlined security operations

- Azure Security Architecture (Priority: 3/5):

- Azure Lighthouse, Defender multi-tenant management, RBAC, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace design for scalable and secure environments

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in security architecture, SOC operations, or enterprise security solution design
- Industry exposure to BFSI, technology, or global consulting environments is advantageous
