We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist with solid experience in cotton bed sheets and home textiles for a project focused on sourcing and evaluating large-scale manufacturers in India.
By the end of the project, we expect:
- 4–5 strong commercial offers from qualified manufacturers
- A clear comparison and recommendation of the best suppliers
- Support in negotiations and placing the first order with the selected vendor
What you’ll do
- Source and evaluate manufacturers of cotton bed sheets and bedding products
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times
- Assess suppliers based on quality, cost, capacity, certifications, and reliability
- Manage samples, quotations, and supplier evaluation
- Work with factories on fabric specification, packaging, and cost optimization
- Support the team through final supplier selection and first order placement
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on sourcing experience in India specifically with cotton bed sheets, bedding, or closely related home textile products
- Experience working directly with large-scale manufacturers (US$50M+ annual turnover)
- Strong knowledge of the Indian home textile manufacturing market
- Good understanding of cotton quality, fabric construction, weaving, finishing, and textile production
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- English proficiency
Nice to have
- Existing network of large home textile manufacturers in India
- Experience sourcing for the US or European markets
- Knowledge of textile certifications, quality inspections, and factory audits
