Pod / Track Program Lead - Cross-Pod (PE/PM)

Role Title: Program Lead - Program Engineering / Program Management (Cross-Pod)

Experience: 15 - 20 years

Primary Location: Hyderabad, India (Transition phase); HCLTech Offshore Delivery Center thereafter

Work Model: Physical co-location at Hyderabad mandatory during Transition (Month 1-3) for knowledge transfer and hardware/lab access; delivery shifts to HCLTech's Offshore Delivery Center (ODC) from Shadow (Month 4-6) onward.

Role Summary Own cross-pod program governance for the full 10-pod IoT sustenance engagement - the single customer-facing point of contact for cadence, escalation management, and delivery-phase governance across Transition, Shadow, and Steady State.

Key Responsibilities

- Run governance cadence (weekly operational, monthly executive) across all 10 pods.
- Own the cross-pod escalation and RCA repository, and drive resolution of issues that span more than one pod.
- Track SLA/KPI performance and staffing coverage across pods; flag gaps in the breadth-vs-team-size model.




- Act as the primary customer-facing contact for program status, risk, and roadmap alignment.
- Drive the three-phase engagement model - Transition (M1-3), Shadow (M4-6), Steady State (M6-12) - including phase-gate sign-off.
- Own the knowledge-management cadence across all 10 pods (cross-pod community of practice, transition-phase capture).

Must-Have Skills

- 15-20 years program management, with embedded or semiconductor sustenance program experience preferred.
- Program/technical program management (PMP or equivalent).
- Stakeholder and executive communication at senior/CxO level.
- Risk and RCA tracking discipline across a multi-pod program.
- Working technical fluency across embedded/semiconductor sustenance domains.

Positive-to-Have Skills

- PMP/PgMP certification.
- Prior semiconductor OEM-facing program leadership.
- Experience running governance across geographically distributed pods.
- Administration experience with risk/RCA tooling (JIRA, ServiceNow or equivalent).
