We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our Virtual Assistant (VA) platform.

The role combines software development, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and operational responsibilities. You will work closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to develop new VA features, build supporting processes and frontends, maintain cloud infrastructure, and ensure reliable operation of the platform.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, AWS, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD, APIs, and databases, along with a good understanding of up-to-date software architecture and cloud-native development.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native applications.
- Practical experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of Git/GitHub workflows.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.




- Good experience with REST APIs and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Good understanding of Linux environments and Bash/Shell scripting.
- Experience working with production applications, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple engineering teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with Svelte or Vue.js.
- Experience in AI engineering, chatbot platforms, or Virtual Assistants.
- Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, NLP, or chat analytics.
- Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and secure software development.
- Experience working with reusable cloud/platform modules or internal developer platforms.
- Experience in security champion programs or application security.
- Experience working in an international / distributed engineering environment.
