Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, AWS and enterprise data engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, developing data warehouse solutions, optimizing Snowflake workloads and working with cloud-based data platforms.

Experience in healthcare data analytics or the specialty pharmacy domain will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
- Build and maintain Snowflake databases, tables, stages, views, warehouses and other database objects.
- Develop data transformation and automation workflows using SQL, Python and relevant AWS services.
- Work with AWS S3, AWS Glue, Lambda and IAM for cloud-based data ingestion and processing.
- Implement data modelling solutions including fact tables, dimension tables, Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Perform Snowflake query optimization, performance tuning and cost optimization.
- Design reliable and scalable end-to-end data solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Implement data quality checks, validation and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support production data pipelines,



troubleshoot issues and implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Follow version control and CI/CD practices using Git and related tools.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Solid hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, data processing and automation.
- Experience with AWS Glue, including Glue Jobs, Crawlers and Data Catalog.
- Strong experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda and IAM.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience designing scalable end-to-end data solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in healthcare data analytics or specialty pharmacy domain.
- Experience with AWS Step Functions or Apache Airflow.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git.
- Experience with data quality, data observability or monitoring tools.
- Experience with DBT or similar data transformation frameworks.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a related field preferred.
