We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT, and data pipeline development , along with recent hands-on experience in the Mortgage domain .
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions for complex mortgage-related datasets in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies.
- Develop complex and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations .
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering practices.
- Work with mortgage domain data , including loan origination and/or loan servicing datasets.
- Perform data integration, transformation, validation, and quality checks across multiple sources.
- Design and implement efficient data models and pipeline architectures in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand complex data requirements.
- Support data reporting and analytics requirements by ensuring accurate and reliable datasets.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and optimize performance in production environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake .
- Advanced proficiency in SQL .
- Strong programming experience with Python .
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
- Strong understanding of Data Pipeline Architecture and Development .
- Experience in Data Transformation, Data Integration, and Data Reporting .
- Recent hands-on Mortgage domain experience is mandatory.
- Experience with Loan Origination or Loan Servicing data is required.
- Strong experience working with complex datasets in a production environment .

- Experience with Mortgage Payments and Escrow data.
- Understanding of Mortgage Underwriting processes and datasets.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of modern data warehouse and data engineering architecture.
