Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Civil to manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, timely completion, contractor coordination, manpower and material planning, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Execute RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works as per approved drawings.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and method statements.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure activities are completed as per project schedule.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, machinery and other site resources.
- Check line, level, alignment, dimensions, reinforcement and concrete works before execution.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, testing and quality approvals.
- Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage of steel, concrete and other construction materials.




- Verify site measurements and assist in checking contractor/subcontractor bills.
- Prepare and maintain DPRs, site reports, checklists, inspection records and site documentation.
- Identify technical issues at site and coordinate with consultants/Project Manager for suitable solutions.
- Supervise and guide Junior Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen and site workers.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company/site safety standards.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, quality, manpower and material requirements.
- Coordinate snag rectification, finishing works and project handover activities.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of RCC and high-rise/residential building construction.
- Good understanding of construction materials, methods and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Strong knowledge of site execution and quality control.
- Contractor and subcontractor management skills.
- Good knowledge of measurements and basic billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Solid leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle site activities and meet project timelines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential apartments, villas or high-rise construction projects.
- Experience in RCC, finishing, waterproofing and external development works.
- Candidates with experience in reputed real-estate/construction companies will be preferred.
