Senior SEO Specialist – Full-Time Remote

FATGURU Ltd is a UK-based digital marketing agency looking for an experienced Senior SEO Specialist to join us on a full-time, remote basis.

We currently manage around 10+ active, ongoing SEO projects and are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of SEO work across our client portfolio.

This is a hands-on, full-time position and requires your full professional commitment to FATGURU.

This role is not suitable for freelancers, consultants, agency owners, people running their own businesses, or anyone looking to moonlight alongside another job or client workload.

We are looking for someone who wants to become a dedicated member of our agency team and focus their working time on our clients and projects.

Salary & Working Arrangement

? Market-competitive salary: ₹6–8 LPA, depending on experience and capability

⏰ Full-time – approximately 40 hours per week

? 100% remote

? Working hours will broadly overlap with UK business hours, although we can offer some flexibility for the right person

We have extensive experience hiring and working with remote team members overseas, including in India, and we are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term role within one agency.

What You’ll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include:

- On-page SEO
- Technical SEO
- Off-page SEO and link-building activity
- Backlink analysis and identifying link opportunities
- Keyword research and keyword mapping
- Content optimisation
- SEO audits and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Implementing SEO changes within WordPress
- Internal linking and site architecture improvements
- Monitoring rankings, visibility and SEO performance
- Identifying and resolving technical SEO issues
- Working across multiple client websites and industries
- Using AI intelligently to improve efficiency, research and execution without compromising quality

You should be capable of working independently rather than requiring detailed instructions for every task.

You will initially work closely with the agency owner, who has extensive SEO experience,



to ensure our strategies and working methods are aligned.

Essential Skills

We are looking for someone with:

✅ Strong practical experience in SEO

✅ Excellent understanding of on-page SEO

✅ Good technical SEO knowledge

✅ Practical off-page SEO and link-building experience

✅ Understanding of backlink quality, relevance and risk

✅ Strong WordPress skills

✅ Experience personally implementing SEO work

✅ Good keyword research and content optimisation skills

✅ Ability to analyse a website and determine what needs improving

✅ Strong written and spoken English

✅ Good organisation and communication skills

✅ Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

✅ Experience using modern AI tools as part of an SEO workflow

✅ A reliable internet connection and professional remote-working setup

Experience with SE Ranking would be an advantage, although it is not essential if you are already comfortable working with professional SEO platforms.

Additional Advantage – Google Ads

Experience working with Google Ads would be a significant advantage.

SEO will be the primary focus of the position, but candidates who also understand Google Ads, particularly search campaigns, keyword strategy, conversion tracking and optimisation, will be particularly useful as the role develops.

Google Ads experience is desirable rather than essential.

Full-Time Commitment

This is intended to be your primary and full-time professional role.

- Working a second full time job
- Looking for evening, weekend or moonlighting work

We need someone who can give the position their full attention during agreed working hours and become a dependable long-term member of the FATGURU team.

Payment

Salary is ₹6–8 LPA, depending on experience and capability.

Payment is made promptly each month against invoice.
