Key Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering
Lead discovery workshops directly with business stakeholders
Elicit, document, and prioritize requirements independently
Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM)
Design
Contribute to solution design decisions through fit-gap analysis against Salesforce out-of-the-box capability
Translate business requirements into Functional Design Documents (FSDs), process flows, and wireframes
Collaborate with architects on target-state design — beyond simply handing off requirements
Development Support
Act as the functional bridge between business and development during build
Review developer/admin configuration against documented requirements
Clarify business logic and edge cases for the build team
Participate in design/code walkthroughs and validate that the build matches intended business outcomes
Deployment
Support release planning and change management activities
Coordinate UAT cycles, manage defect triage, and drive sign-off
Support deployment/cutover planning, including sandbox-to-production promotion, release notes, and go-live checklists
Support
Provide post-go-live hypercare support, triaging production issues
Distinguish configuration defects from recent/enhancement requirements
Manage the enhancement backlog and provide steady-state support and maintenance
