Job Summary

Navera Builders Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity surveying, estimation, billing, cost control, contractor coordination, and commercial activities for construction projects. The role requires strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, measurements, billing, variations, and project cost monitoring. These are common responsibilities in current Sr. QS roles for building projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review BOQ, quantity take-offs, estimates, and cost plans from drawings.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for quantity requirements.
- Conduct detailed site measurements and verify executed quantities.
- Prepare, check, and certify RA Bills, subcontractor bills, and client bills.
- Carry out rate analysis for materials, labour, and construction activities.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets and identify cost overruns.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, MIS reports, quantity reconciliation, and cost forecasts.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor measurements and billing documents.
- Evaluate variations, extra items, deviations, and claims.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for measurements, quotations, billing, and commercial matters.
- Support tendering, quotation comparison, negotiations, and work-order preparation.
- Monitor material consumption and reconcile estimated quantities with actual usage.




- Maintain records of BOQs, measurements, bills, variations, work orders, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with Project, Site, Procurement, Planning, Finance, and Management teams.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.
- Assist in preparation and settlement of final accounts.
- Guide and supervise junior QS/estimation staff.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying and Cost Control
- Excellent knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off
- Strong billing and measurement skills
- Good knowledge of rate analysis
- Contractor bill verification and certification
- Variation and claims assessment
- Cost estimation and budget monitoring
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Solid MS Excel skills
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred
- Experience with QS/ERP/estimation software is an advantage
- Good negotiation, communication, analytical, and team-management skills

- Post-contract QS experience
