SurveySensum is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company helping businesses improve customer and employee experiences through AI-powered feedback and experience management solutions. We are building a strong QA function that moves fast, experiments often, and leverages AI to create meaningful impact.

What you’ll do

- Automate: Own end-to-end test automation across web and API layers, and integrate it into CI/CD so every release is validated automatically.
- Build the foundation: Design and build our QA process from the ground up test strategy, standards, and a scalable automation framework rather than inheriting a mature one.

• Instrument quality: Set up quality gates and metrics coverage, defect leakage, regression cycle time and use them to drive continuous improvement.

- Embed in the SDLC: Partner with developers, product, and engineering leads to shift testing left — bake testability and acceptance criteria into stories before code is written.
- Lead the team: Mentor and grow a small QA team — code reviews, pairing, coaching — and establish shared standards as we hire.
- Champion quality: Be the QA voice in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, release sign-offs, and rootcause reviews for production issues.

What we're looking for

- Experience: 6–8 years in QA / test automation / SDET roles, with explicit progression in scope (e.g. Engineer → Senior → Lead).
- The key one: Direct experience scaling a QA function at a product or SaaS company as it grew from a small startup team to a mid-size org — ideally 6+ years at one company through that growth.
- Builder:



Proven track record of building an automation framework or QA process from scratch (not just extending an existing one), with concrete outcomes — reduced regression time, higher coverage, lower defect leakage.
- Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers, or clear readiness to step into that.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and the ability to work cross-functionally with developers, product, and leadership.

Tech stack

You should be strong in at least one modern automation stack and comfortable across the API and CI/CD layers. We care more about depth and the ability to build than about matching an exact tool list.

• Core: UI automation with Selenium (Java + TestNG) or Playwright / Cypress (JavaScript / TypeScript), using maintainable design patterns (e.g. Page Object Model).

- API: API testing & automation with Postman and RestAssured (or equivalent) for functional, integration, and contract testing.

• Pipelines: CI/CD integration with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, running automated regression on every build; Git for version control.

- Process: Agile / Scrum delivery, JIRA (or similar) for defect and test management.

Nice to have

- Performance / load testing (JMeter, k6, or BlazeMeter).
- SQL / database testing and solid data-validation skills.
- Exposure to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and testing microservices-based architectures.
- Experience introducing test-health dashboards or reporting (Allure, Extent Reports, Grafana).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools for productivity.
