We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Databricks, Data Engineering, and Cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end data and analytics projects, coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders, and ensuring timely and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering / Databricks projects.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers.
- Strong hands-on understanding of Databricks, PySpark, Spark, SQL, and data pipelines.
- Experience working with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms and modern data architecture.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work closely with Data Architects and Engineering teams on solution design and implementation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues,
and drive mitigation plans.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and project governance standards.
- Support technical discussions, design reviews, and production implementation.
Mandatory Skills:
- 14–19 years of overall IT experience
- Solid experience in Technical Project Management
- Strong experience with Databricks
- Good understanding of Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
- Experience with Spark / PySpark / SQL
- Experience with at least one cloud platform – Azure / AWS / GCP
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Databricks certification
- Experience managing large-scale data transformation/cloud migration projects
- Knowledge of Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Kafka or similar data technologies
- Experience working with enterprise/global clients
