; The Indian Express Digital is looking for a Senior Product Manager to shape how millions of readers experience our journalism across apps and websites. This role sits within our Consumer Experiences product charter, focused on building better personalisation, search, video and multilingual experiences that drive reader engagement and retention.

What you ll do:

;Set the product vision, strategy and roadmap for your area, and make clear trade-offs about what to build and what not to build.

;Understand readers through research, data and direct feedback, and turn those insights into easy, intuitive experiences.

;Take products from idea to launch and beyond: define the problem, write clear product requirements, work through delivery with your team, and keep improving after launch.

;Define success metrics for your area and use data and experimentation to make decisions and measure impact.

;Build experiences that help readers discover, engage with and return to our journalism.

;Identify where AI can improve the reader experience and apply it responsibly.

;Work with engineering, design, data, editorial, marketing and business teams, and build alignment around a shared plan.

;Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous problems and communicate decisions clearly to your team and to senior stakeholders.

Who you are:

;6+ years of work experience,



including at least 4 years in product management on consumer technology products.

;A track record of building and shipping consumer products used at scale, and of improving metrics such as engagement, retention or growth. You can explain what you did and what changed.

;Strong product sense and structured problem solving. You can break a complex problem into clear user needs and a sequenced plan.

;Comfortable with data: you analyse it yourself, define metrics, and design and interpret experiments.

;Excellent written and verbal communication.

;Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.

;You use AI tools regularly in your own work.

;Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have:

;Experience with news, media, content, streaming or subscription products.

;Experience building for large and diverse audiences in India.

;Experience with consumer growth, engagement or personalisation.

;Familiarity with how content is discovered through search, social and AI platforms.

;Experience building new products from scratch as well as improving established ones
